Opelscanner add-on
« on: 03 July 2009, 19:30:02 »

Attention AutoscannerOpelCAN users!

We have some experience in Opel ECU investigation in order to reveal some undocumented features. As a result - we can read security codes directly from engine ECU using USB interface. Currently the following ECUs are supported:
    * ME155
    * ME761
    * Simtec 71
    * Multec H
    * Multec SF
    * HDRC
    * Multijet 6JO

The CAN modules are also on the way. The engine also ECU can be reseted directly.

Mentioned features, as well as some others, will be released in AutoscannerOpelCAN Professional version. The software will be distributed with USB dongle.

Attention forum members, who do not own our genuine product!

There is a possibility to release software and hardware (with CAN bus support) with this functionality only, e.g. security code reading, engine ECU reset, etc.

Using thing functionality it is possible to read the security code from mentioned engine ECUs in seconds, which allows to avoid soldering, applying specific devices like programmer, etc.

Also this can be very helpful at engine ECU exchange, when new ecu to be installed is not reseted and security code is unknown.

I think that's a native language to English  mistake.

As far as I know they don't steal from "My Naff Code Reader" - compete possibly

yes much more reasonable  :y

still think these, and "My Naff Code Reader" would make fortune offering their products for £100, and stamp out the piracy at the same time

Stamp out a lot of it, but never all of it - some internet users have the mentality of because they can copy programs and nick  other peoples work (notjust the vendors, but also the cracker's) then its OK to...

But there would be far more people prepared to pay sub £100 for a decent reader :y
