Floor mats
« on: 06 August 2009, 15:47:54 »

I have a facelift Omega with generic mats in it, trouble is they keep moving about!

I dont see any clips on the carpet, any ideas on how to keep them in one place, blinkin' annoying to have to pull the drivers one back every time i get it!  >:(

If you have a look under the mats you should see fixing points. You can buy mat clips from Vauxhall. Simply make a hole in the mat in the correct place and clip the mats down.
EDIT: Sorry, should have read it properly, are there no fixing points on the floor under the mats, or no fixing point on the mats themselves?

I see, that's unusual. Do you want me to take a picture of the fixing points in mine so you can see what they're meant to look like?

Here's the pics, please excuse the filthy carpets. Last picture shows mats with fixing clips.

Nope mine hasn't got the fixing points in the carpet either - can these be purchased from VX and fitted easily??

Get some of those self-adhesive velcro squares from somewhere like WH Smiths. Then stick half a dozen of the hook type only to the underside of your mats, that'll stop 'em movin' :y
