Big Thanks to RonaldMcBurger (and MarksDTM too)
« on: 30 August 2006, 10:37:44 »

Quality guy!  Picked up my replacement ABS Unit, aswell as some fancy electrical upgrades (ok, not so fancy, but leccy rear windows & fuel flap solenoid!)  Had a lil chat, not sure if I should be honoured too with what was said about my meggy ;D

Cheers to MarksDTM too for doing the removal part of the ABS unit from the MV6 while round helping out!

Now I just need to get some time to do the swap over, bleed, refil, etc etc etc... then attack the rear doors with a dremel to get out the old manual winders & fit the new ones!

Should keep me busy over a few afternoons working at a snails pace!

Indeed he is!  Although I think he was a tad suprised when I said it was a 230 mile round-trip to pick them up though :o but still, just over half a tank of fuel was used, and this was even with a few 'private test-track' moments...  oh the fun!  But it is running better though from since I got it in regards to fuel consumption, but it had been stood for months though!

The postal service would have been cheaper, if less fun....

I'd also like to thank RMB for my very stylish carbon fibre parts  :)

All fitted and looking the biz now, quick and well packaged p&p too  [smiley=thumbup.gif]
