Bloody weather
« on: 31 August 2006, 10:12:19 »

My wife only works about a mile and a half from where we live and on the rare sunny day walks to work so I thought its time to sell the Audi because 1st a three mile round trip is not good for it and 2nd being a 2.8 it uses about £20 a week in petrol. Trying to get the wife to part with it is the hardest part as she loves it so I just went out and bought a Rover 25 diesel which has had a rear end shunt well more of a nudge really. I have been out with the mallet and block of wood and straightend the rear panel and have a second hand bumper ready to fit. I also want to valet the Audi and the Meega and service all three cars but the rain has been so bad this month ive had to stay indoors and tile the bathroom and decorate the front bedroom. :'(

I have exactly the same problem with Mrs Hillper's car.  Two mile trip.  She never walks.  Eats exhausts.
(Why she eats them, I just don't know.  She's odd like that!)

I need to do a few bits on mine too, but it's below 26 degrees C out there!

Well

Lets put it this way if my wife was leaving the house right now as i type.

And i told you that she drove a 2,5 v5 Renault with worse mpg than my 3litre omega and that the cats were suspect and it sounded like a sherman tank and i have been on at her to get a 2 litre car...

By the time i have got to this part she will be at work, its even all down hill!!!!!

0.8miles

Will she go smaller - no chance  :(

There's something appealing about a woman in a man's car?   :-/  I find.   :-[
