2.2DTi CD 2003 Saloon, 50k miles, already put 10k on it, now to fix all the things I have spotted need attention.

Done many thousands of miles in Vauxhall's (1xCav/4xVectra/1xVX200) but this is my first Omega.

Already loving the forum members, saved me money and time.

I looked at CD DTi in that colour before buying the one i have. Keep her serviced at regular intervals & she'll serve you well :y (ignore the stupid 20,000 mile oil changes & go for 3000)

Wise words,  the Vectra behind it cost me £500 at 100,000 miles, its now at 150,000 miles and runs better now than it ever did, mostly thanks to 6k mile oil changes. Shame the rest of the car is falling apart around a good engine  :'(

Looked at quite a few before settling on that one, was shocked how mistreated they all were, along with missing service histories, no record of cam belt changes etc.

If you have a good one, with history, don't be beat down on price if you come to sell it. Let the prospective buyers go see what junk is out there, and then come back and pay you a fair price.
