digital displays
« on: 19 July 2006, 19:56:20 »

i know there is a section in the FAQ's but i have a question:

My facelift miggy has a MID i believe, i have the computer, time and radio station.

In the FAQ there was a comment that the colour one will fit the facelift ones and does everything, say nav, computer, radio, etc.

My car doesn't have factory fit sat nav would it still work?

No it wont, it requires the NCDC 2013 to go with it.....but, if you find a CID, I would be interested ;)

I believe the CID will only work with certain radios - the SatNav is actually in the radio, not the display...

And if you have a CID, don't tell Marks_DTM - jealousy is a dangerous thing  ;D

Sigh!, first the government, now the Omega Owners Forum  :'(. You can almost taste the stench of corruption from here :o. Questions for cash?, nah, extra stars for CIDs, you can see it coming.  The sleaziness of it all. Distgusted! ;)

i'm meeting up with the guy on the weekend so i will get a chace to have a look at it then.

he wants about £50 for it, i don't know where it came from but he tells me it has never been fitted to a car and comes in its box, i want to find out how he got it and why he's selling it.

if it is all above board then i will get it, if its no use to me then i will pass it on to someone who can make use of it, at the price i paid.
