RWD Fun in the wet
« on: 23 October 2006, 12:43:39 »

Driving back yesterday on a rather wide but twisty road in the tipping rain, with lots of surface water - god these things are tail happy in those conditions  :o

I have Uniroyals on the back with plenty of tread so not down to rubbish tyres or anything..

Will soon be taking the TC bulb out of the dash - fed up of seeing it flashing at me as well hehe

Hehe, just press the TC button on the dash. That will stop the light flashing! Will also stop the TC working though :P

Yep, they are a bit lively at the back in damp or wet conditions - even more so on the estates :( Always getting mine flash at me, especially pulling out at junctions with a bit of welly. As Supermop said, you can always switch it off but if you do, be careful!! ::)

You can't beat an empty, moist supermarket car park :y

I was going to put " for a bit of rear out action" but thought better of it ::)

The main thing with right wheel drive is if you loose traction you dont loose your steering :y
