EGR fuse?
« on: 25 July 2017, 16:09:08 »

Got a guy in touch with me via ebay ,I don't think he frequents here , he has a 2.2 pet in limp mode and is getting fault code for EGR and has tried 4 egr's without success, he reckons someone got the battery terminals wrong and it has caused this, question : is there any fuse or relay related to the EGR which may have blown ?

No fuse or relay specific to the EGR.

Has he got the correct type EGR (as some look the same from different engines but have different pinouts)

has similar problem on another vehicle could be the same,  turned out to be the co2 sensor, throwed up the wrong code, only found out when unplugged the o2 sensor reset codes and it was gone. put another know working one in and no codes came up.
