Best way to access is back onto ramps, support (not lift) the diff then undo one mount from the chassis member. If it drops it's toast. Refit and repeat on other mount.

If they're properly dead, you'll know as the mount frame falls off.

Whilst on ramps, the donuts can also be checked with a pry bar :y

Cheers. Bolts only should just drop out then? Trying to remember from last rear spring change I did, how they came off.
