Err think so. I remember having it loud on the motorway and then comming to a stand still (m25  ::)) and i had to turn it down.

I had speed senstive volume on the american heap i hired in the US... damn annoying and quite noticable we had to turn it off.
Had you set it up ;)

Did't even knew it needed setting up, went though most of its options bass, fader and all its other bits....

Might have to consult the book...

**

Which i have now done, it says it has the feature but does not explain how to turn it on...

I remember fiddling with the options on my 2005, most of which did naff all...

According to the manual....

Speed Dependant Volume Control (SDVC)

Press TUNER control until you hear a beep

Display shows current SDVC setting ie SD VOL +2

Adjust using the tuning controls < >

To store, press TUNER again until you hear a beep.

At SD-VOL 0 the automatic volume control is switched off.

I would go and try it for myself....except racing up and down the M32 playing with the stereo at night might just get me in a bit of trouble !!

Page 16 of CCR2006 audio manual.  Extended functions.

The most noticeable upgrade is to add a sub.

The next best thing is to amp the existing speakers.  (Only need to do the fronts)

But changing the headunit will make a difference on it's own, but you'll loose the standard look unless you get one of these!  ;)
