On Bluey the breaker today - removed driveshafts, diff, cats, gearbox,rad,A/C condenser, airbox,ABS ECU,,wiper motor & linkage and removed/ disconnected everything ready for the engine to come out. Just need to hire a hoist now and lift the lump out. :) Im absolutely cream crackered though. ::)
Some time between now and tue am, I need to change my rear shocks, springs, steering idler and not long after that the n/s camcover gaskets and a service.
Gonna be busy for a while. ::)

Removed the gearbox on my Scoob to get to the clutch.
I have taken a couple of pictures as the  flywheel had quite a few hotspots so thats now at the Skimming Mans   ;D
The pressure plate has a number of cracks in it from the heat I would imagine, good job i have a new one....
The bearing (spiggot bearing if I am not mistaken) makes a terrible sound when you spin it, so got one of those also.....
There is a bolt that i read about that holds the fork in place, a screw in cap behind the starter motor hides it, which then you need to screw a 6mm bolt into the tapped end so you can slide it out, which being honest i would be still there now perhaps ready to get the bottles on it   :D had I not known........
Hopefully all back together tomorrow... :y

Scratched my head wondering where all that ATF under the car has come from. Cock.
Time to swap the wheels over then ;)

Hope it's not time to wait until it's pi$$ing down then get the gazebo out again. ::)
That can be arranged, Mr Wood :P

If you're ever down this way and want to borrow a pit (so as not to get covered in ATF, for example), you're welcome to stop by, TB ;)

Today I booked it in for an MOT tomorrow.. wonder if it'll pass?

The Omega had it's first MOT (under my stewardship) today.. passed with four minor advisories:

i) Rear brake pipes slightly corroded
ii) Front tyres worn on inner edges
iii) Rear tyres worn
iv) Sill covers fitted

Number 4 made me chuckle, and the others are easy fixes and stuff I had on my list anyway (besides the brake pipes). Time to call andyc and order some service parts!

Cant do a lot today as Im at work, but just changed the steering idler (needed for the MOT Tue. am) and am hoping to do a proper job of getting the o/s cat to centre box to seal.I put it together in a hurry a few weeks and its blowing a bit.
Just leaves rear springs and shocks to change before tues, which I might be able to do at work tomorrow, or if not, Monday.

Tried various ways and dropping the diff seems easiest tbh. :y

Had Joshwyatt`s car on the drive. Stripped out seats, carpets, seatbelts, glovebox, fusebox cover, cubby hole, parcel shelf, doorcards and all lower black trims. Replaced with all the cream/beige stuff from the red Elite breaker. Thanks to Josh for his assistance.
Josh gotta sort airbag light now. All seats & plugs were like for like and the sodding light is staying on >:(

Nothing to the Omega.. got the Nissan out to get it ready for an MOT tomorrow and found that the nearside indicator bulb holder is defective, and tin worm has eaten a hole in the drivers sill :(

Can't decide what to do with it, now  :-/
