Available on bbc I player. Phil Jupitus does a thirty minute on cars that didn't make it in the 50s and 60s especially. Interesting how then car design was blue sky whereas now it is rather conservative.

Yep after the wind tunnel dictating design it is now the computer, so do not expect any really different shapes than we are seeing now as designers have hit the same formula! ;)

Roads are for cars and bikes, pavements are for pedestrians. If either strays, it will end in tears.
Me and a couple of colleagues popped out for lunch, and pissed off a cyclist because we were walking along the (narrow) pavement and wouldn't jump out of his way as he approached us. He tried pulling the moral highground and got all abusive when politely reminded that pavements are for pedestrians, not for cyclists going flat out.

Great film! OK, perhaps that's an exaggeration, but it has a very clear message.. and quite funny, to boot.
