Apparently the effects were felt up to 66mls away,although I'm easily within that distance the earth didn't move for me...………...again :'( :D :D

Oh yes we've got all sorts of mod cons now,electrickery,running water-when it rains ;D- and I've even seen some of these new fangled horseless carriages-they'll never catch on :D ;D ;D

They trialed them "motor car ? " things here , but we have a stage coach come through once a fortnight  8)  ,so they did not catch on  :)

These modern bus services aren't exactly convenient  :D
BUS  ??? whats that then ?
the stage coach is very convenient , stops only 5 miles walk from our front door , brings telegrams and supplies ,and once the horses are watered and fed ,you can , for minimal cost , travel to far flung exotic places such as Barnsley ,Doncaster etc  :y

This news should cheer TB up. Two major fault lines have been discovered under London with one under Canary Wharf which may cause a major earthquake at anytime! :o :o :o

In order to care I would need to go there more than once a decade :D
