Hello Every one.
i recently bough a 2.2- 2002 OMEGA..and I am discovering every thing in it.
i found this sensor GM 009146391 ,and it was very rusty
so any one could tell me what is for ,and what will effect the car if this sensor is out of work.
thank you

Looks like it might be crank sensor, let me check EPC

EPC says air quality sensor
(9146391) (18 45 780) SENSOR, AIR QUALITY (FOR ELECTRONIC AIR CONDITIONING) (NLS.- NO REPLACEMENT PART) (C) Y1000001-
Is this near the cabin air intake under windscreen?
-
sorry for the late response.

Its a pollution sensor that, if the Climate is set to automatic recirc, turns on recirc if that sensor detects traffic pollution.
Generally reliable enough to replace with a 2nd hand one.

Thank you very much :y
