A no deal would , I understand create a problem for the EU. The Irish border. They would have to instate some kind of hard border in order for the EU integrity not to be compromised on goods INTO the EU. Funny how Varadker has gone on and on about not wanting a hard border...

May ought to be offering the EU a Free Trade deal today. And then when they Um and Err play them on the media.  Of course it will be too little too late. She will doubtless be happy to come back with backstop limited to ten thousand years. ;D ;D

Everyone has breathed a sigh of relief over May winning the no confidence vote. Didn't Maggie do the same and then was gone in a week ?

I believe Thatcher had 204 votes against TM's 200. I'd need to check though.

A friend of mine who lives in Connecticut has a V8 P6 and shipped it over to the  US.

When he went to pick it up from the docks, he overheard a dock worker telling his mate that apparently that little car has a V8 in it!  ;D
.

Mate of mine shipped a V8 MGB GT back from New Zealand 2 years ago to date it has cost him a total of 28,000 , it looks great & sounds awesome but you feel very vunerable hurtling along in it !

The name Costello comes to mind.

117 is a large number. :-X

I imagine she is now almost powerless. A sitting duck.

They can't touch her for a year now so for her its a result, can't see anyone else doing much better tbh

I agree.

The idea that a new PM or a labour government would do any better is false.

Sadly the offer (piss poor though it is)......as as good as it gets. As good as it was ever going to get.

Its alright kicking May out but wtf is there to replace her ::)

I give you the new leader of the Conservative party: https://www.lbc.co.uk/news/photos/the-funniest-photos-of-boris-johnson/

The tennis player Boris picture has a certain " my wife is also my sister " feel to it. :)

We can only hope that she has got the message that the backstop is unacceptable.  ::)

Its not her who needs to get that message .. it is the EU .....

You can't negotiate with someone who won't negotiate ... and at the moment they are saying take it or leave it .. so I say leave it .. no deal  :)

It's true that the EU are not being overly helpful. But it was we who chose to leave, and there are 27 other countries who have their own agenda. Actions and consequences.

This idea that Germany sell a large number of BMW and Mercedes to the UK so we can dictate terms and conditions to them and 26 other countries is pure fantasy.

The only REAL brexit is a 'no deal brexit'. Anything else is half in and half out..........much like the first time I had sex. 8)

If if the backstop was removed by witchcraft the rest of the deal is pretty piss poor. Still more in the EU than out of it.

Brexit is supposed to be a brave new world. It looks like TM is afraid to let them go.

Five days. That's about right for Opti.  ;D

The brain isn't what it once was.......I'm sure you are of an age to be familiar with senility yourself. :)

Back in the seventies the 'rozzers' were fond of the Triumph 2.5 PI along with the Rover 3500V8 (the same body as the 2000/2200)

Back in my youth I was chased by both. :)

P6,nice :y
.

My Brother had a P6 3500 V8 , lunar grey with the spare wheel mounted on the boot was a lovely car, I used it a couple of times sounded very nice.

My brother also owned one.

Either 1969 or 1970, it  was 'H' registration. I remember being disappointed that it didn't come with a rev counter. Just a strip speedo.

Back in the day it seemed very potent. :y

Michael Cohen, trumps ex-lawyer, sentenced to three years in jail.

Said 'he'd take a bullet for Trump'.......

With communal showers he may be taking far worse.

The Tories have become a party of invertebrates.  ::)

In days gone by they'd have knifed her in the back, left her twitching in the gutter and headed for the bar without a backward glance to plot their next move.  :)

You have a way with words. ;D

My 1976 2500S was finished in a fetching shade of jasmine yellow and looked very smart with standard fit 'Stag wheels'.

Being a long stroke OHV unit designed by Brunel  ::) it was not fond of high revs, but had good low speed torque with overdrive fitted on second, third and top.

It was about 6 years old when I first owned it. The tin worm had already eaten through the sills and the floor under the back seat. :-X

PAS as standard which was not common on cars built in 1976. :y

Good job it wasn't as "popular with the ladies" as Tigger's Marina, or you'd have gone through that! ;D

I suppose something exotic and Italian would be needed to surpass the sexual vibes given off by a Marina 1.8TC..........something like a Morris Ital perhaps. ::)
