If using resin stylee, a good lubrication with silicone spray helps, and silicone grease.

Thanks, mate, but just ordered the aluminium ones from sparkesandnoise, as suggested by amba.  :y

Out of interest, how did you get in touch?  afaik noone else has been successful contacting them.

I found their website here and ordered with PayPal. The adjusters are listed on the left below the BMW bits. Haven't had an acknowledgement yet, but it is the weekend.

Cheers,

Please keep us posted with progress.
Ive been unable to get in touch with them, hope you get your bits.

Phoned today and discovered that the person who made the up sadly passed away a couple of years back.  :'(

The chap I spoke to said he'd passed the drawings on to someone in Norway(?).

Anyway, I'm back to square one. Will cancel the PayPal as the person I spoke to cannot access the account.

All seems a frightful hassle and I think it may be worth my while just getting new headlights. Time is money as they say.

Anyone reckon these would be any good? ???

It was the lower bolt by the flexi section?  cant picture it.

They said they went over it all well, checked all engine mounts, went throught it with computer etc, its all they could find.

Picked it up again after a snapped exhaust stud was replaced. Seems quieter now!!

Just started it, and nothing I can notice on startup.

My memory is obviously going back 3 years, but it does sound like it did the last time.  My noise identification has always been crap.

Only noticed it driving slowly in traffic when coasting in neutral to a stop.

Yes. All 4 parts replaced. Using the later parts (Sachs) too as per last time.

Also feels more vibratey and bus like while idling.

Iíve a phone call to make shortly!

Listened to my flywheel get progressively noisier driving around Manchester :(

Picked it up with a shiny new clutch etc and no leaks :)
