Can anyone tell me are the heads in a 2.5 the same as the 3.2?

If not are the camshafts interchangeable?

is it possible to put the camshaft pulleys on upside down because of the keyways?
If it is how can tell which is the right way (ps they were not marked when taken off)?
Is the y32se  engine a safe engine?

Please can someone help please,

When I press the accelrator all gauges stop working and engine management, abs , tc and air bag lights come on. let car go back to idle gauges work again lights go out. This happens while driving or sat still. Really stuck with this one.

Hi Guys,

My MV6 is playing up, when I press the accelerator the speedo , rev counter and fuel gauge all stop working, the abs and traction control lights come on, occasionally the airbag warning light too. when i release the accelerator the lights go out and the gauges start working again. Any ideas where to start please

Hi Guys,  Any ideas please, I stopped the car to drop of an item, gone for about two minutes, came back tried to start the car and nothing. The dash lights up and goes out as normal, nothing happens when key is turned, no starter solenoid click. Please help if you can

Could someone please advise me on upgrading my 3.2 Irmscher estate brake discs, I am looking at Black Diamond drilled and grooved with EBC yellowstuff pads.
I am replacing both front and rear.

Any advice gratefully recieved

Hi All, I have just purchased my second 3.2 MV6 but have found the brakes lacking, my first one is an ex police car and stops with ease, can anyone advise me on how I can upgrade the brakes on my latest purchase.

Omega General Help / rev counter bouncing won't start

Hi all,  Please help my 3.2 omega estate seems to have developed a couple of faults and i really need some advice. When you turn the ignition on the rev counter bounces all over the place, the car turns over but will not fire. I have several fault codes, they are as follows 0430 0420 Catalyst System Efficiency (usual culprits) 0340 CamshaftPosition sensor and 0335 CrankshaftPosition sensor. Where does anyone suggest I start??

Hi all,

My ABS and TC lights have just suddenly come on and stayed on. When you first start the car they do not come on till you move off. The speedo is still working. Is this just going to be one of the abs sensors?

Omega General Help / Traction Control Fault ??

Hi,

I am in need of some advice, I have had two front tyres fitted today and on my way home the TC light started flashing and the car went into limp mode. When I turned the traction control on the car then drove normally. Any advice on what it may be would be great fully received. The car is a 2002 3.2 omega estate

Omega General Help / V6 oil cooler replacement

I have had an oil cooler fail on me for the second time in six months, (the replacement was second hand so i think i have just been unlucky), I am thinking about replacing the original oil cooler with an aftermarket universal oil cooler. Has anyone any experience of this and if so is there an oil cooler kit they can recommend.
