Will we 'be allowed' use of this technology post Brexit?

General Car Chat / Mercedes also using 'cheat' devices.

Naughty boys.

I'm sure it was a genuine mistake though. :)

General Car Chat / Remove marks left from bird shit?
« on: 12 June 2018, 15:38:26 »
Any idea?

I've tried normal car polish and even T Cut which is obviously more abrasive. Can still see a visible 'scar' left in the paint though. :-\

General Discussion Area / Brexit.

Looks like it's going to be more BREXIT means BRINO rather than BREXIT means BREXIT.

A total cluster f*uck. The chuckle brothers would have made more effective negotiators. :-\

As for a second referendum........I don't want it. We have already voted. :-\

General Discussion Area / England v Nigeria.
« on: 03 June 2018, 12:14:52 »
I thought we played well in the first half but were disappointing in the second.

It is worth remembering that Nigeria is a country from Bongobongo land and if we struggle against such teams I fear we may not progress very far in the world cup. We'll see. :-\

General Discussion Area / Liverpool goalie.

If I was the manager I'd check if he has placed any bets on the outcome of the game. :-X

Pretty impressive for 510 BHP......... :y

General Car Chat / Insurance for the mighty Signum.
« on: 24 May 2018, 12:26:35 »
Last year 160.

This year 193.

A phone call later back to 160 again.

I'm happy enough with that figure for such a valuable, prestigious, and desirable motor car. :)

General Car Chat / Jaguar front splitters.
« on: 23 May 2018, 18:39:39 »
They make the car sit low at the front and I've scraped them both. :-\

Each side is attached with 4 torx self tappers......Jaguar use 2 different sizes for some reason.

Anyway, I've removed the screws but for some reason the splitters which weigh SFA have additional support.  They are attached to the bumper with some form of stringy contact adhesive. Quite why I have no idea. :-\

Best way to separate the splitters from the bumpers so I can respray them?......any idea chaps?

General Car Chat / Cracked screen.
« on: 18 May 2018, 16:39:41 »
Bummer............but it happens. :y

So the good Doctor is now 75 more impoverished than when I got out of bed this morning.

I have a chip caused by a large stone from a lorry that has now become a curved nine inch crack that they inform is too large to fill with resin.

I had a new screen on my last MV6 come to think of it. ::) I thought the all-conquering Signum would be made of stronger stuff.

General Discussion Area / Flat Earth society.
« on: 05 May 2018, 12:05:01 »
At first I thought it was April 1st....but no.

Phillip Schofield and the blonde piece (her name will come to me) hosted an interview with three members the flat Earth society who insist we have all been duped, and the Earth really is as flat as a witch's tit.

It gets worse. According to a poll 6% of the population agree with them. ::)

Assuming a population of 60 million this means 3.6 million souls think they could fall off the edge of the world at any given time. :)

General Discussion Area / Speaking of bog roll . . .

...........this is what you need as an employer if your workers are spending too much time taking a 'comfort break' :)

General Discussion Area / The Wellesley.
« on: 30 April 2018, 13:29:38 »
Received a curt email this morning informing me that not only will I not receive the interest I am due on the 8th May, but my original investment is now worth considerably less. :-\.......possibly worthless. :'(

I knew of the risks and accept them, but as soon as any financial institution fails to pay what it should then the writing is on the wall.

It seems that the Wellesley has been lending money to people who can't repay it. Sounds all too familiar?

General Car Chat / Britain's diesel scandal.
« on: 09 April 2018, 19:25:02 »
8 PM Channel 4.

Another kicking for diesel perhaps. ::)

General Car Chat / I believe TB owns a black pussy.
