Nice to see it still has the flags on it James  :y
I loved this car and can vouch for a very large portion of its previous history that James mentions - I loved it so much I owned it twice  ::)

:o Wow that's impressive. That must be the best rust filter I've ever seen  ::) :D

There's a very discreet stylistic nod to the QP 8)
You spotted it  ;)  :)

Some great photos as always Ian.  :y

Your Maserati and TB's Jag, did you omit full photos of those out of politeness to the Omega's.   ;D
Thanks - there are a few subtle similarities, but it was all about the Omega - it'd be rude to dominate wouldn't it  ::)

Great photographs, Ian.

Thanks Terry - glad you got some group shots in too - nice one :y
Cheers
Ian.

Thanks for the nice pictures, Ian. The "rust filter" you have passed them through seems to have done its job. :y
;) :y

Thanks for posting the pictures, and I'm sorry I missed it. Next target is VBOA, I hope to be there either with you guys or ABS, maybe both!  BTW I spotted the bonnet bulged Estate heading south on the A34 as we were coming home, it's got some presence on the road. My question is, what's under the bonnet, I can't tell from the pictures, is it a V8?
No Problerm.
That will have been RobsyMV6 - 5.7 V8 LS1 supercharged  :o. There's also a picture on the other thread  :)

Here you go everyone, sorry if I missed anyone, I think a couple of you left before I finally got the camera out.
Great to see you all again - it's been a while and thank you to Tony and all your family for your hospitality and arranging such a great replacement for the Wycombe meets you made such a  success too - thank you  :y :y
Anyway as we all know what Omegas look like, here's a few moody angles  >:( and I'll confess to a couple of tweaks with a filter on a few  8)....I think I managed to hide most of the wheel arch issues that were  ::) ::) :-[
Enjoy:

Cheers
Ian.

Evening all,
Count me in for this one too - be great to catch up with you all again after so long.
Incy tincy weeney slightly hidden agenda - I still have my snowflakes for sale if anyone is interested (see Bits For Sale thread) which I can bring along. If no one is interested I'll be there anyway  :y in its replacement.
Looking forward to it.

Cheers
Ian.

Hi All,
Still here and keeping an eye since my Omega retired from my ownership... :-[
ANYWAY, I still have these available as previously advertised here if anyone is interested  :y (Original post here: http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=142093.0 )

Given that we have a Brackley meet this weekend coming up - I'd be more than happy to bring them along if someone wanted to collect them or discuss delivery arrangements ???.
I'm keen to see them go to a good home - they come with the relevant spacer rings and locking wheel nuts + custom finished centre caps .....if you want to have a summer set to play with, these are ideal. THEY ARE NOT PERFECT as I mentioned in the previous post.
I was going to suggest the giveaway price of £40 per wheel which totals £160 - but to save the inevitable awkward haggle I'd be happy to cut to the chase and accept £150 for all 4 wheels delivered to Brackley on Monday  :y.
If you're interested, but won't be at Brackley, let's talk  :)

Be good to catch up again  :y
Cheers
IAn.

I've just come back from the Restoration Classic show at the NEC, there was an Omega in the Classic Car Auction Arena - I didn't go in as they wanted 10 quid just to walk round so I couldn't see the spec sheet on it. It went thought the auction yesterday apparently - I've got no details except it was a face lift metallic burgundy saloon !! de badged reg number Y11 VXL.
It went for 4 grand  :o :o
Anyone on here know the car? I'll try and get the photo of it uploaded later

In our area as along as it's solidified with something - cheap cat litter is a good start, or soil and stick it in the bin. It goes for landfill unfortunately....
