General Car Chat / Re: So what have you done to your car today?

That's most profitable one in Kingston, wife used to live down road by the phone box art work things.
Its clearly designed as an income source, rather than traffic management.
Its ok for the buses to block the jcts esp the one nr the station, i find it easier to go via hampton court bridge to the other side of the river if i need to. Council retards have blocked with road works vertully every route in or out of the town centre.

Omega General Help / GEAR STICK REMOVAL
« on: 17 September 2017, 18:20:05 »
Hi all, is it possible to remove the entire gear stick from inside the car, or do you need to disconnect any parts from under the car as well. The reverse lift collar under the gear knob has split due to heat during the summer months and i have a replacement stick to fit.

did not know there was an issue with cooling on the v6 's, unless your radiator has an issue or the thermostat is knackered, as to cutting the water jackets leave well alone and tell the plonker that gave you the advice to take a hike. :y

my hermes will lose it/nick it for that money, so better off staying with royal mail
My hermes are shite, lost several items being sent to me, or deliver to wrong address than send  me a txt saying your parcel has been sucessfully deliverd, omiting to say where they have delivered it to.
they said that they had posted an air con pump though my letter box. yeh right.

i had a gm kit fitted last time out and it made a chirping noise like a baby bird (chick) it died down after a few thou miles. also removed the aux belt and it made no difference, cam
belt cover also removed still the same. i put it down to the white lettering on the belt passing over the pullys :-\
