Keep seeing loads of adverts for these on the T/V. What the hell are they all about and what good do they do? Asked my kids (they are all in their 50s) and they weren,t really sure. Can any of you world wise buggers on here enlighten me.  :D

Spent five hours in hospital this afternoon as have had a weak and erratic pulse since Friday afternoon. Phoned 111 and they said, after some searching questions, to get my sorry arse up to A&E.  They,ve changed one of my drugs and put me back on to blood thinners. At least it,s one of the modern ones and not Warferin this time. Will have to wait and see if i need to go to Papworth for a third Catheter Abblation. Oh well, another joy of getting old i suppose.

is being phased out early next year. Shame, i like to run through the news and sport early mornings. Also found it handy checking travel before starting a journey. Just another cost cutting exercise to pay their over inflated, so called stars. ::)

General Car Chat / Big rise in cost of air con servicing.
« on: 22 March 2019, 22:09:27 »
Has this been discussed on here before? Booked my Vectra in for one today and the guy, (who also did my Desmond :'() says that the cost of the fluid has gone up in price due to EU rationing the amount that can be manufactured to combat climate change. Seems the fluid is very harmful to the environment and if there won,t be enough around some drivers might be disappointed. Anyone else have any thoughts?

Before i contact the local scrappie if anyone wants a donor car mine is available.
Good points, nearly new front pipe with cat, (after market) four good Nexen tyres, fronts only weeks old, recent new main rad. almost new battery. Engine and gearbox both good, Starts and runs great, has been serviced regularly and have all the history since i,ve had it and some previous too. Mileage is 145k
Bad bits, car is undriveable, front offside damage, bonnet, wing, slam panel, bumper, headlight with all self levelling and washer mechs all damaged. There is also rear end damage from a previous incident when an idiot left his hand brake off and it rolled into it,(boot lid and bumper).
I am not in a position to break the car so must be removed whole by the buyer. Have put a price of £150 just to comply with forum rules and sorry i cant do pics. If info is reqd pm me. As said, will go to scrap yard early in new year if not sold.

.. an old film called Sapphire on Talking Pictures, made in 1959 and they just wouldn,t  get away now with the absolute racism that pervades through the whole dialogue of the film. Even makes me feel a bit uncomfortable. :o
