There is a Desmond for sale on Auto Trader. 02 reg in Northampton, MOT runs out today. At the last test there were 9 advisories all citing corrosion. I thought i was in  there until i read that. It was up for £1100 at first but now at the bargain price of £950. Very low miles though, 58k.

 Took the decorations down today. Due to SWMBOs stay in hospital over Christmas. My dear old Mum said the other day that was bad luck to keep them up after the 6th of Jan. I then asked her if she considered that smashing my car up and her DIL being carted off to hospital could be considered good luck.

Yes, we do seem to vilify our sports stars, Beckham, Froome, Hamilton et al. As for Murray, he seems to have been a lot more approachable over the last few years of his career, whereas he was a total knob in his early days. As for him being the best British sportsman ever, which was being touted on Jeremy Whine on Chan5 this morning, surely that depends on which sports appeal to each individual person. Yes, Murray has done BRITISH sport proud but so have any number of our champions through the sporting spectrum.
