Hmmm the Sat Nav's are all the same regardless of it being an NCDR2013 or 2015, the colour screen adds better functionality I would agree but it's wrong to say that the mono is basic in comparison.

Scary to think they charged £2,200 at the dealers for the GSM telematics unit and a CID, the head unit is just a different facia.... A new telematics went for £49 on eBay the other day and I had a new CID fitted to mine when I bought it for at least £2000 less than the total price above.

When I see numbers like that it reminds me why I would never buy a new car!

At least you have built up some savings  :y, plenty of people 'live for the moment' then when the moment has gone so has the money.

Tunnie, enjoy it while you can!

Life's a series of crossroads and junctions with many choices and virtually all of them cost you a bloody fortune!

My X Wifes grandparents both have tatoo'd marks on their arms from Auschwitz, they never speak of those times. I would guess the memories are too painful.

...fixed my serial programmer so I could...

...reprogram a CDC3 I bought for CCR600 to a CDC3 compatible with NCDR series.

Then I made up a conversion loom, so I could put a recently purchased NCDR in place of the CCR800 in the tractor.

Then I had to go out and brave the cold and remove the old ccr800, CDC2, and MID.  Got as far as fitting GID, and cabling up CDC3 and NCDR to test, but it got too cold, and Mrs TheBoy turned up with fish and chips :D

Guess what I'm going to be doing before I leave tomorrow...

I presume you use a TM Loom to tweak?
