My Dad who went to the meet with me, was amazed by how much the people from OOF are willing to help each other with no personal gain.
He has enjoyed his weekend so much that he was on about buying an Omega most of the way home, also asking if I mind him coming the next one.
He did mention about buying a 2 berth caravan though for the next one! why I will never know ;)

Thanks OOF for a great time.
Shoot him....

;D

NOOooooo........let him  :y We could torch it in case next place doesnt have chimneas  :y ;D ;D

IIRC it's only 3.0 cars that require W/Z rated tyres.
hmmm, possibly... ...worth checking.

Some time ago a Top speed of your Omega post attracted some fun on here. Today i had the chance under suitable conditions to have a go for the first time. Got to an indicated 142/143mph, still creeping up slowly but started feeling a bit light for a big car so decided to quit while i was ahead.
I've no need to do it again but at least i know now.
P.S What's the speed rating for Michelin Primacy tyres? [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]

PPS. Speed rating on tyre wall says 94V.
:o

thats about 130mph, and below manufacturers spec...  ...not sure insurance is valid  :-/

I might pop along for an hour
Bring ya bloody roadblock down, and stay :y

Got it partly dismantled - were supposed to be going away this week, but cancelled as we spent too much in Cornwall.

Been fitting a 12V socket system. Rplacing the stabliser shoe, replacing the 12S 12N plugs - corrosion and damaged cable.

Also school starts early next week :y :y :y :y
chuck it all together, could be there by nightfall ;)

such a golden oppertunity for you - barely any fuel costs etc, never get another meet as cheap ;)

Not suprised....with the tractor probs  :( I would be too!!
That ain't the half of it...

Dell have been on the end of my wrath for past 2 weeks, and I'm still reeling from the £100 per month tizzy bill, and my back is killing me.  Should have rang Barclaycard today, but was too hoarse after a marathon shouting rant at one of our offshored appllication support guys at work  :-[

Actually, I've promised her I'll keep off the whisky, as (apparently ::)) I've been "in a right shitty mood" lately, and spirits don't agree with me if I'm in the wrong mindset....

...and from me, have a great time everyone, lakes was fantastic, unfortunately work for me restricts my attendance.

Sure Broocie will - as always - do the missing Scots proud with some traditional Jock type delights.

And i know were going to get tons and tons of piccies, so no worries there...my only concern is the Nrth V Sth footy match as theres not many Northern lads going... :(
I think Hotel21 is going to lose the footie ;D -  unless he gets all us wee softie southerners plastered first ;D

No piccies/vids from me - Mrs TB is taking the camera with her.

I'll happily host any pics and vids taken though :y
