No, the autobox warning was no a 'blip'. You can try a fluid change, or selector switch.  On a 3.0l, it may just be the start of a failing thrust washer....

Whatever, you want to get it checked out...

Been a few times and going to Corralejo....
Went there twice in the mid 80s - sod all there then. Mum went back recently, apparently very built up and lively now...

OK, the plan seems to be coming together, which is somewhat worrying seeing as this car is jinxed....  :-/

Plan:
Tunnie, Bo Bo, LFF64, TD meet at mine 9:30. We leave at 9:30 to meet seller in Brackley at 9:45, and follow him to his dads farm.  We make a start on disconnecting all the junk from the engine ready for removal. Omegatoy will meet us there around 11ish.  Hope to have engine out by 12 - 1ish.  Back to mine to take out my engine (mostly everything disconnected) and put this one in.

I have got out the gas bbq, have some burgers and bangers, along with rolls etc, so if someone finds they don't have a task, they can fire that up.  Plenty of cans of soft drinks in.

9:30  :o

Hoping i could get a ly in & be fashionably late, but if your meeting the seller, can't do that!  >:(

Ok 9:30, stealer opens at 8:30, i'll pick up those parts and anti-freeze from the dealer, and see you at 9:30.
we need to leave mine at 9:30, so don't be late!

want me to pick you up on way through to meeting seller?

11ish (may still be at Wardington getting engine then)
What time are you expecting to leave yours & expecting to get back & what's the "plan of attack" ?
Been chatting to SWMBO & can make any time really (she's swapped shifts again  ::))......
Need to get in touch with engine seller, but seems like 9:30 leave Brackley for Wardington (about 10 miles) to remove engine from donor car. This will take 2hrs I imagine. Then get engine back to Brackley and fit.
OK I'll get there for 9.30 & can make the trip, if any changes try & let me know before 2PM tomorrow 'cos doubt I'll be on here after that.......
PM me your mobile, I will text you if a last minute change.
