As per title, met up with Pauls today at his place to compare differences between his cdx estate in velvet green code Z380 & my tourer estate in jungle green code z359. Whilst THE colours are very close they have a different hue to them and was evident from the moment i saw his car.
So it looks like i will have to keep searching for replacement rust free rear doorss for my estate.
So thank you paul and i hope to see you again at a meet in the future.  very nice looking Estate you have mate and the cream leather you fitted looks the part.

Omega General Help / Estate rear shocks

Hi all  i have a problem on my 97 tourer estate, the rear drivers side upper shock mount has destroyed the rubber bush and the shock rod with the nut at the top has come up through the metal cover into the rear of the car. At the moment i cant tell you anymore than that, how is the upper shock mount arranged & does anyone have a picture of the rear shock mounting pls

Omega General Help / PAINT CODES AND COLOUR DIFFERENCE

My tourer is paint code Z359 GREEN and i need to replace the rear doors as rust is showing under the rubbers at the top, Steve has a couple of estate rear doors in paint code Z380 GREEN.
Now the question is how much difference is there likly to be between these colours, they look the same but they are from a pre fl (Z359)& a fl(Z380)
Has any one ever seen these two colours together, i know someone recently said on here the star silver paint is very slight, almost unnoticable. is this the case for the green.

As per title, i need the plastic clips that hold the trim up under the drivers side dash, it is a type of card with some foam on it and it needs a type of twist clip.

I would like to know how difficult it it would be to make the interior light come on when you switch the ignition off, and then stay illuminated for a period of say 20 seconds, is this possible?

Decided to leave he missus upstairs snoring away and try to make my self heavy eyed by sitting on the inter webby thing for a while..
Nothing gone wrong wih the miggy to bore people with, Oooo, wish it would in away to try and use sme of this energy that i have somehow found.

Are the alternators across the v6 engine range inter changable, ie 2.6v6 fit a 3.2 v6 etc etc.
                                                                                             & 2.5v6 fit a 3.2.

my dad has lost both of these some how and i guess they clip in from behind the bumper.

is anybody breaking a 3.2 and have a good cat back system for an ELITE SALOON pls, my dad needs to replace his and is considering buying a new system from an exhuste retailer, so i thought i would ask on here before he buys as i am sure that the quality will be crap compared to the gen part. AND CHEAPER TOO.

Car Parts, bits For Sale & Wanted / F/L ESTATE DOORS

Looking for a F/L estate offside rear door in metalic green, paint code Z395.
I need to replace the door due to rust on my pre F/L door under the window rubber.
i have yet to see the F/L doors go there yet.
Cheep as possible please. Will collect if doors are good.
