Replace the front pads and discs today, EVEN MANAGED TO GET THE NEW PAD WEAR SENSORS TO CLIP IN WITHOUT THE NEED TO PERSUADE THEM IN TO THE LOCATING HOLE, 
emptied the master cylinder of old fluid an bled the front system of air, so far so good, will bleed out all the old fluid from the rears next week, pedal feels much firmer now so all good.
Noticed a rattle from the centre box's on the exhaust and confirmed my susp that the baffles have rotted out but no leak, so an eternal system is on the shopping list

also the CENTRE CONSOL ARM REST LID IN BLACK pls as mine has started to bubble.
