Need to send a Fax Overseas, about 2 Pages, Dont Ask!, and no, they have PC and WiFi but dont accept Electronic Documents so its  Phone and Fax Machine only.

There used to be all sorts easy ways, email to Fax, WinFax, blah blah, but all seem to be subscription based these days.

Any good ones out there?, Free would be good from the PC or Phone App, I can probably sort out the International Call Rate by going through a VOIP Service although Im not convinced a Fax will work, ie, VOIP quality etc.

Thats classed as Electronic Delivery, they will only accept Paper or Fax Documents.

Ah, right.  Wasn't sure.  Isn't that old fashioned!  I always think of faxes as by electronic means, but I suppose rules are rules.

As I use Asterisk, I have a Hylafax server I can "print to" and it will go out via the standard routing methods (invariably VoIP).

Despite the warnings otherwise, it works first time, every time for me.

My printer also has a fax, but can't remember last time I used that. Again, its plugged into a box that converts it to VoIP, goes through Asterisk etc etc.

Brussels and or Luxembourg, it is confidential but not worried too much about the contents, problem I have (only just found this out) is the Source Telephone No. needs to verified (or Traceable) back to me apparently.

I know what your thinking, they said it can also come from a Professional Service Co, ie Bank, Solicitors, Emabassy etc, as they can confirm my Identity.

I have a small fax/phone machine in my attic that you can have if you need to do this regularly Zirk.

I kinda miss faxes. You sort of knew where you were. Stick in machine, press "send" and you could call and say "have you got it". Nice and easy, no scanning, no email configuration, bad connections, balh blah.

But before that there was telex . . . . . oh no. Effin aweful
