depends WHY a car is low mileage
if it's been started fortnightly ,and drove 50 miles at speed   8)
if it has been started daily, drives 1 mile but sat in traffic for an hour whilst doing that mile  :(

It also depends how old it is. A 5 year old car with 30k miles has been in use, and is unlikely to have any problems. A 25 year old car with 30k miles will require all sorts of work that one with double the mileage will have already required. Parts like seals, bearings, cables, tyres, and wiring connections are  particularly susceptible. This one of the reasons why lots of people think old cars are too unreliable for daily use - they simply aren't using them enough!
