IMO we won't be paying any divorce bill as the EU will not have even agreed to have any meaningful trade talks by March 2019. The French are the main sh*t stirrers on Galileo and if it ends up being adjudicated on in the International courts then so be it. The working class Russian and Ukrainian people are down to earth and the ones I've met have been fine in the UK and Ukraine, but officialdom where it is very bureaucratic is a pain and you really, really don't want to fall out with those at the top in Russia. Ending up on a list can be fatal. Like the Brits on their annual trip to Costa del Puke that don't travel well to holiday destinations, nor do Russians and Ukrainians when holidaying.

What never ceases to amaze me is how cheaply Western influence can be bought from Western officials by authoritarian regimes.

Same as Kim Jong-un is a nice man. Never had anyone tortured or killed. Yes Trump is the real bad guy - he separates families for goodness sake.

When I watched Frankie Boyle's programme on Russia as a prelude to the World Cup. you could tell there would be nothing but a charm offensive.

We as members of the public, will be sold down the river with what ever fiddle the politician's can get, for them selves and big company backers, the country voted to leave, they didn't think it would happen, and as they don't have any sort of plan,, PANIC,
The Europeans are worried because IF we do leave other countries will follow suit, namely Italy next then possibly Holland, and the Germans don't won't to lose Europe again because of the British,
If the French see it's a good idea, then they will follow, and again Germany will fall.

That's my theory, others might not think the same.

It's not just us that didn't have a plan to leave; the EU never expected anyone to do so, and they don't have a plan for it either.


This is just one of the reasons why nobody is going to come out of it with anything worthwhile.
