My Kawasaki counts as a classic now, so nice cheap insurance :)

How does a car become a classic? Is there an official age, aminimum quantity left running or do insurance companies have a say on what they consider a classic?

Another question(I'm full of them), I understood that a car over 25 years old didn't need taxing, but I saw one the other day with a tax disc on it.

I think that rule about 25yrs was in 2002 when they last changed the rules, so I think its pre 1977 doesn't need tax...
