They are known to suffer crank sensor issues

at £23 on TC will ring round and see if we can get one.


Everyones 1st thought has been Crank sensor, just no code to prove it.

Tried all we can think of, and have towed it round to a local tech2 equipped place for a quick look.

Had the phonecall.....they think its the chain  :'(


waiting for confirmation.


the really annoying thing was when it was bought, vauxhall were rung and asked if it was in the effected range, they said it wasnt.

No more was thought of it till now, and Ive checked myself with TIS

Well apparently its not the traditional bad nozzle issue.

A plastic tensioner has broken, causing the chain to jump.

Price was 'debated'  and £900 agreed on.

Vauxhall wanted £1800ish, Luton knocked £200 off, but still too dear.

shitty plastic tensioners that vauxhall use is another reason i like cambelts!
