Cleaned the breathers on the CDX....  found small o/s pipe blocked, so after reassembly all should run much better. Had a bit of a fright when started it up, was popping and banging with a whooshing sound - found that the rubber bung on n/s hadn't been pushed home properly and letting air into the plenum. Now sorted and am happy   :)

Last Thurs, drove it to Ealing. Every single Merc driver was a 1st class idiot of the highest order.  I followed one about 15m up the empty M40 in the outside lane, because I refused to undertake.

Yesterday, drove to Sheffield (via Birmingham City Centre), again, the Merc drivers won the idiot awards.

Today was that hellhole, Kingston Upon Thames.  Clearly a higher class of idiot, as they were Tesla drivers. Admittedly only 3 of them, but clearly they felt they owned the roads, even when driving slower than snails (probably to eek out enough electricity, as the mongs bought the wrong cars).

oppswits.

That far? Must have had a bag. I didn't think the average Merc driver could go that far without a loo stop? ;D

Swapped a good wing off the daily driver for a dented one! The plan is to fit the good wing to the other silver car to improve it.

Just over 310k km (~194k miles) here with original HG, next timing belt operation will be about at 325k km (203k miles) and will change HG at the same time (if it holds  ::) ).

On Thursday, James came down to deepest Wiltshire, and very kindly, and swiftly, changed the cambelt on my 3.2. Excellent job James and my sincere thanks. I hope the battery fitted OK. :y :y :y
Only 63k, I shall have to use it more. ::)

Now fitted to the other one!

If anyone wants to swap a good condition Z147 wing for a Z157 one let me know!

Not my Omega but my cousin's Mazda 6.

We got rammed from behind and then spun into a rock face on a twisty descent by an older driver because one of his false legs 'fell off the brake'.

All 4 corners crumpled, fluid on the road, wife holding her neck, toddlers screaming in their car seats.

The day got better after that when two fire engines, two police cars and an ambulance turned up and lots of men and women in uniform made a big fuss of the toddlers.

Ouch :o glad you're all ok though... ;)

On the bright side, there's one less Mazda in the world ::)
