Realised the exhaust was about to part company with the side of the car.

.. and that the exhaust bobbins I purchased a few weeks back are completely the wrong size. :(

It's a Caterfield, so I assume you'll be fixing it with bailing wire and duct tape? ;)

I once had to drive it from Aviemore to Alton overnight without anything at all in the exhaust can due to a small technical setback. I thought it was fine, because I was wearing ear defenders. I wonder how many people's hearing I trashed on the way, though. Loud isn't the word. :-[

No, actually, with a new exhaust bobbin from Hafrauds. Yep, you could knock me down with a feather. Something useful there. It doesn't even have any blue LEDs on it. :o

Well, the shop next door was "Pets at Home". I must have wandered in there by mistake. ::)

Dread to think where people are putting those bobbins in their bunnies.. :o :o ;D

[edit] I've done SFA to mine besides wash one of them. The BMW currently has a layer of tree sap that more or less 100% covers it, bloody trees. Haven't even touched the Cobra in about three weeks..

Drove it to "near Brent Cross" and back this afternoon. Works time, so dull and boring and > 40mpg on the computer.

I think tomorrow, it will be to Walsall and back. Again, dull, boring and hopefully > 40mpg

The ageing process has definitely begun. Less  concerned about how quickly  (or not) he got there, but always aware of how good / bad, the MPG figures are.

Well I started cleaning up my omegas underbelly ,rust proofing etc  :y
freed up the head lamp leveling sensor on the wishbone  :y
driving home ,I was thinking .... I'm beginning to like this car  :)
did a sharp right turn , EML shows it's orangeness to me  :'(
continued the short remainder of the trip home
thinking , shyte , this has a miss-fire
got home and some knob is parked outside my house (so can't plug diagnostic laptop in )
did a quick pedal test
0300, random missfie and 0302 missfire cylinder 2
i guess that's the awkward side knowing my luck  :-\ that's prone to flooding from scuttle water  :-\

The tight wads at my company only give 28p a mile, so they have to pay for me to drive slow ;)

Walsall looked to far today, so delivered stuff to colleague in Halesowen instead :)
