New exhaust for TD Estate
« on: 27 July 2006, 13:16:19 »

I have just bought a brand new cat back complete exhaust system for my TD Estate off Ebay, with all clamps, rubber slings etc. £82!!!!!

Now, Mark will no doubt confirm that I need this yesterday, so I look forward to getting this bargain. Yeah yeah, it might only last 2 years, so what.... The car might not last that long.

It is a pig to start still so this weekend I will have another go at plumbing in new fuel return lines. Drives Ok though, until you put your foot down at 50mph then everyone behind gets a restricted view of the road and usually flash lights in support of the diesel smoke screen. Very nice of them. Hoping the new exhaust might just help here!!!!!

Hey Ronnie havent you blanked off the Egr pipe yet???? if its stuck it may be the cause of your bad starting problem? goes a long way to curing the black smoke mate!!
