Hi and welcome  :)

Which alarm is it?

The main alarm (horns sounding) or the power sounder (siren type noise) ?

Welcome Leon. As TD said, it depends on which sounder is going off. If it's your alarm proper then you need one of our experts. If it's your power sounder there's a simple temporary fix.

ive lots of posts how do you clock em and also a how2 on welding a couple of them together would be of great interest [smiley=lolk.gif]

mods feel free to delete above....im sure leon is on the up and up but also equally sure he understands the possible security threat posting such info for all to see would pose, we are all very proud of our cars here and very attached to em, plus given that this is his first post it just sets bells ringing but understandably your first post is often only when you have a problem and had it related to any of the common probs such as bad idle etc etc there would have been a rush to help, maby if he is not too far away from some kind soul with the answer ye could meet up? just my thoughts on the matter not ment to offend. and of course welcome leon

Hmmm well since he says it goes off when he's driving, it's probably safe to assume he has the correct key for the car.  He might even own it!  Of course he could well have mugged the owner and stole the key too, but I like to give people the benefit of the doubt if I know as little as we do.  Hope you feel welcome, Leon :)

As others have said, im sure this is a genuine question......and im sure we will be able to help fixing the alarm, whichever one it is, not disabling it  :)
