Omega elite 2.5v6 Auto ABS/TC lights
« on: 12 July 2006, 13:56:30 »

I had a problem with my TC/ABS lights coming on along with speedo not working. Had Tech 2 diagnostic and cleaned rear sensors (thanks to TheBoy ). Had all wiring concerned metered out, all checked out ok.

I bought and fitted a 2nd hand ABS Unit/ECU. The speedo now works ok but the ABS/TC lights are on permanently. Non Tech 2 diagnostic check showed no codes.

ABS physically works but T/C appears not to as I did manage to spin the wheels on some gravel.

Rear ABS sensors changed in turn

Voltage across the battery up to 3000rpm peaked at 13.5v.

Brake light switch has been changed along with rear light bulbs

Anybody got any ideas please.

Was the replacement ABS module of the same part number as that removed?

I suspect its time to get it re-checked with tech2 again I'm afraid...I assume the main module connection is good etc

Usually, most evenings and some weekends are fine - just drop me a PM first to make sure I'm about :)
