« on: 23 October 2019, 12:27:59 »

.......thanks to being ripped off for a new driving licence which must be replaced every 10 years.

I do not recognise the picture of the old man looking back at me. :-\

Consider yourself lucky that Britain left the EU.

Otherwise you would have had to have a medical ( about £35) then a test of reactions and abilities ( free) and then pay to have your licence renewed ( another about £40). Every ten years from age 65

When/if you rejoin the EU you may have all that to look forward to as the rules are harmonised.

We  don't see ourselves as other people see us.

I see an exceptionally handsome young man in his prime..... young people who I have never met probably see an old fart who will soon be six feet under. ::)

we ought to be doing all of that anyway. Proof of a recent sight test and a receipt for any nscessary corrective lenses should be another requirement.

I just paid around £150 for a new pair of passports. They came without the hateful EU insignia on the front so it was worth every penny.
