leaking water in nearside foot well

Hello everybody,
                        My car is leaking water in at the near side footwell.I have had the carpet up can not see where it is coming from any ideas please.

Welcome to site :)

I'm moving this post to help section for better coverage.

Either scuttle drain blocked (hopefully), or heater matrix knackered (hope not).

Open bonnet, lift rubber seal that runs along back, then lift up right hand plastic flap. If its full of water, just unblock the drain hole...


If you need more info, just let us know - didn't want to go into too much detail just in case I was teaching you to suck eggs :y

I should add, if you have climate control, fix this quickly, before you do expensive damage to fan controller...

i reckon, and hope, its the skuttle - heater matrix, if it was gone, would stink  :(
