No, but I read that you can put fresh manure in the bottom of your planter and as it rots it generates warmth which stimulates growth and you get nice big veggies.  :y
Tomato : a ripened flower ovary that contains seeds. AKA a fruit
Cucumbers are fruit too

Steaks, pork chops, bacon etc are NOT fruit and are OK to eat  ;D

Damn, I should have written nice big fruit and veggies to thwart the pedants!  ;D
There's one in every village  :D

Whether their quote is reasonable or not depends on their labour rate, but I would take Nick up on his offer.

Just make sure it's not raining when you go or he might be inclined to charge more ;D

Car pass from donor car will take care of that, but belts and braces would be V5, VIN and Registration number as well.

If the car is still in your possession that will make it alot easier to obtain the car pass.

With the screen, scuttle and dash out, that panel can theoretically be replaced, it's bonded into a channel in the firewall.

 ......

sigh ...... bulkhead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The two terms aren't mutually exclusive.

no they're not... Americans have firewalls, wristpins, rocker panels etc etc etc ..... we have bulkheads, gudgeon pins & sills etc etc etc
Thank you for agreeing with me though ;D
I didnt want to correct you .... & just ignored your opps up
It wasn't mine. Just because someone uses a different word for something doesn't automatically make that word wrong.

Would you correct your wife if she had a ship visit and called the deckhead the ceiling or the sole the floor, forward the front and the stern the back, port left and starboard right?

It's a single piece from memory.

You would do well to remove the dash if only to properly inspect where the infill panel slots into the panel behind the dash. If you're welding up the floor, then whilst you're in there... ;)

The hardest part of dash removal is finding (and refitting) all the screws that hold the end caps (with the air vents) to the dash structure. The actual dash is only held in by 5/6 bolts.

Dove would have been my first choice... As in, "The pelican dove into the water.". "The pelican had dived into the water, but resurfaced fishless soon after." Is how I would use dived.

As for car planes or boats, it doesn't really matter... a firewall is one purpose of a bulkhead, pressure is another as is water.

A bulkhead is by definition a structural panel , usually vertical in orientation, and the preceding words ie fire resistant/proof; pressure resistant/tight; water tight etc indicate how the bulkhead is designed and engineered to perform. Ergo a firewall is a bulkhead that's designed to contain or slow a fire. Depending on how it is constructed and from what, it may serve more that one purpose.

On a ship, a watertight bulkhead may also be designated as a fire wall as it will have been designed as such, albeit a secondary requirement to being watertight... If a ship sinks because it flooded then having firewalls is a moot point. But equally if a bulkhead cannot contain a fire then it is unlikely to be watertight. And if a compartment floods the watertight bulkheads serve as pressure bulkheads as they have to resist the weight of the water behind them.

The Plod XC60 and V90cc are both petrol powered with a mild hybrid set up and available relatively unrestricted to 250kmh aka 155 mph. So whilst they won't set the world on fire they will still keep up with most of the traffic.

Why does it require a full restoration then :-\

I mean, I understand that it might require some fettling and possibly some preventative things doing but that doesn't even come close to being a full restoration. Either it's immaculate or it's not...

https://www.volvocars.com/intl/special-vehicles/police-and-emergency/ :P

I'd wager that if some retro bank robbers nicked Mick's Grannie off the drive on the one night he'd left it out and robbed a bank somewhere in Lincolnsausageshire, they'd be away up the A1 while Electro-plod were waiting for their milkfloat to charge and the one out on patrol would die before they reached the South Yorks border.  ;D
I dunno about that... My 2.8 carburetted auto struggled to do 14 mpg  >:D

The velour looked much nicer than the leather and was a pretty comfortable place to be :y

Agree re the Executive leather, it looks very '70s American... although it was a definite improvement over the standard leather which made the interior look quite bland, especially in grey.

May Volvo rip as they've gone full Milk-float.

.......that will never go faster than 112 MPH. :-X

The nanny state is alive and well.
Can't see the Plod spec cars being limited...
