last week i had fun & games with the ad blue tank . urea & engine emission warning were on i took it it to the dealers for initially a diagnostic of which they told me would cost me £90.  i live a hour from the dealers so a courtesy car was provided. they rang me & told me the  ad blue tank / pump were at fault but they asked me to pay for 2 more hours for further examination. they phoned me later to tell me it was the pump. ( which is supplied with the tank ) however there is a manufacturers fault with pump & it would be replaced for free by DS, that was a relief as they cost about a grand.  the original pumps fitted had metal bits that urea rotted & now they have plastic components. all is well now , tested it by a trip from nth yorks to hampshire

wife has had a message claiming somebody has tried to obtain a payment from her a/c with instruction to click on a link which appears to be a hsbc fraud team. if anybody gets this message the real banks website has a warning and to delete it.

yesterday i got a delivery from hermes & this morning an email saying " sorry we missed your delivery yesterday & i had to pay £1.  83p for redelivery , as it happened my security immediately stepped in to say its a scam.

just lately i have been getting calls from two mobile numbers but when i attempt to ring them back i get the message  " you have called a wrong number. check & try again "  .  as i  have been typing another rang me so that  is three this morning

in the early 60.s i went to sea , levis were widely worn by merchant seamen & to purchase a pair you would have probably had to go to a ships chandlers.
  i have been trying to get  some genuine levi jeans & ebay is full of them saying that they are authentic but when i look at the sizes they r.e not.  Levis never made jeans in even sizes. 29, 31 waists & buy them a size big as they always shrank. guaranteed never to rip & you would get e little story book with each pair.  will may try ebay usa

dog stealing as all of us know is rife at the moment. a farmer near to where i live has had 3 working dogs taken. a chipped collar is the nearest one can get to tracking an animal along with micro chipping. apparently there is nothing to inject into an animal that allows something to trace a missing dog. i would of thought someone would have come up with something

 i had three car washing spots near me & overnight they all disappeared . the one i used would charge £20 for a full valet ,do a decent job too. all Rumanian so was wondering if they were asked to leave.

i have just renewed my security on my laptop but are being hounded by " Winzip telling me that they have done a scan & i need to pay them money because the scan has noted 7 crucial updates that need doing to keep my computer safe. when their page appears it is quite hard to get rid, hence annoying. as writing the page popped up. as i delete one another will take its place until it momentarily is deleted. i am not very IT literate so not sure on how to get rid.

 its that time of year for a m.o.t & service. its an oil query - does a vehicle with stop - start tech need a special oil ( tech manual specifies  0/30 synthetic ) ,last year opie oil recommended Total Quartz which cost me nearly half of as much that ep were wanting. also if a new battery is ever needed , not a lot of change out of £ 450 whats wrong when that time comes of getting a good amperage & sticking that on.

i have a battery operated tyre inflator that is kept in my boot . it will also work on a 12v supply. yesterday i had a warning that right rear needed inflation but the machine would not work on both battery or 12v supply although when switched on it did have a momentary attempt at starting. the battery was fully charged & 12v supply is ok. the outside temperature was well below freezing & i wondered if the coldness made it behave as it was because as when i took it indoors it started to work,

another hermes complaint. ordered an item from Amazon & initially was emailed with a delivery date of Sunday 24th . that never happened & was changed to Monday 25th . tracking shows my purchase arrived at my local depot in the early hours of the 25th but it wasn,t delivered . since that date the tracking message says " We have your parcel but there is a delay & we aim to get it moving within 24 hours. it now as I post 93 hours. the frustrating thing there is no way of speaking to a human.

i went into a local store this morning to buy some metal paint . two different size tins but each marked 750mls . the bigger tin has a red band around the top saying 33% free. the one that has 750mls was priced £14 .95 but the one saying 33% free was £17.95, that too was contents 750mls + extra.
