Sorry, but this has got to be a wind up. Yearrr mhaann....

Have met a few musicians now and worked on their cars, they,as a rule, know as much about fixing cars cars as i do about playing music. break all, much to my embarassment when in thier company. Just different brain wiring thats all.  ;)

1) Anything from Gold(new oil) to black(old oil)in colour is fine.

2)If it has any white/grey/caramel colour in it, is thin and milkey, suspect Head Gaskit.

yeah, thanks for that, i didn't take it as being snappy, my oil is EXACTLY as you described  ;D
Just to be sure....

Too much info there Wayne !  :D I, like you, cannot fathom cars, but the guys on here DO know their Omegas!  Unfortunatly I cannot fathom music either!! Am I beyond redemption?

I do know that HG failure on these is as common as rocking horse manure and even I was thinking HBV (I must have picked up something loitering around here!).

Main thing ... don't panic. Breathe deep and slow. And if you want to kill somebody ... nip over to the VX dealer  :y
