The red warning light (circle with an exclamation mark in it) has started flickering occasionally.
Is this a sign of anything in particular? Brake sensor(s) or anything related?
TIA

From memory - fluid level ?

If it's a circle with brackets at either side and exclamation mark in it,then according to owners handbook it's Brake system, hydraulic clutch control[their wording]it's the one that lights up when the handbrake is on and goes out when handbrake released, but also applicable to low brake/clutch fluid. It is from the picture in the handbook the 4th from left bottom row of lights on the rev counter. There does seem to be the possibility of another similar light [don't know what colour]which is bottom centre of the speedo, which is for auto transmission fault.

Always brake fluid level if still on when handbrake is released ;)
Can be as innocuous as low pads all round, but worse case is a leak... hoses/rusty pipes/weeping calipers etc.
Wheels off and up in the air with it...;)

Thanks all.
Not on all the time. Just flickers occasionally. Will have to get it checked by a man who knows.

Check and top up the brake fluid....then keep an eye on it to see if it continues to drop, no need to get an expert on it :y

Mine was doing exactly this, I ended up having to piece out a bit of the loom.
But obviously check the obvious first (level, and then the level switch)

Thanks all. Bought some fluid.

If the reservoir has dropped to the lower limit and so triggers the warning light then, assuming no fluid leak, it might well mean that the brake pads and maybe the discs are excessively worn.
Don't rely on the brake wear indicators, if they are even still present and connected.

Noted. Thanks.
