Car registered 1st March 2015.
Does this work the same as usual?. By this I mean I take my car for MOT less than one month before 1st March 2018 and the new (first) MOT will run from then.

Yes, you can take it upto 1 month early and get the standard extra weeks as per a normal MOT.....plus it means its still under warranty so if they do find any issues....
