I haven't had a lot of luck in the past with either stirrup pump or cigarette lighter powered electric pumps.

Is this just a more expensive similar?

The ones that come with the bottle of glue in modern cars are fine. I’ve got two or three because I always buy a space saver spare.

Yep, I have a Vx one that is probably lose on ten years old and gets some hammer, works well and reliable, certainly better made than the cheap type you can get from Halfords etc.

Ive got a Halfords digital inflator that plugs in to the lighter socket. You just set the pressure required, turn on and walk away and leave it to it. Ive had it quite a few years now. Only problem I had with it, was the valve attachment would stay attached to the valve, so I cut it off and put a new one on it (few quid I think it was)
