And enjoy internal combustion 'racing' whilst you still can, because the future is bleak.

If there's any noise/change as the clutch moves, then the release bearing is sticking. No noise would suggest a hydraulic issue. Expect to change both the master and the slave. If you're lucky the slave will be externally mounted, but changing the clutch at the same time is prudent if the gearbox needs to be removed.

£85 for those sounds pretty reasonable without knowing the size.

Proper sized tyres are double that.

Probably not helped by the green lane types that predominantly used it.

Do you use the factory phone?

If not remove it and have a plate welded in to fix the rust permanently.

Fitting and working are two very different things, but yes it will physically fit.

Near as I can tell your car has a 3.90 ratio... That 2.2 is 4.22 which would make it lively but horrible to drive much over 50.

One from a 3.2 or later 3.0 should be suitable as they're also 3.90

Failed slave or master cylinder most likely.

But, it could be a brake fluid leak that has dropped the fluid level to the lower edge of the clutch feed. Most hydraulic clutch cars have this as a safety feature so that if the level drops suddenly, you lose the clutch just before the brakes.

Probably the first, but because it could be the second, she should stop driving the car immediately until it is fixed.

As a car it's not worth anything like that, but as a rare inventive novelty, it might be considered art.

£100,000 will still, just, buy you two or three interesting cars that you may actually want to drive.

If you're swapping clusters willy nilly, don't forget that a saloon fuel gauge will read differently in an estate and vice versa as the tanks are different shapes and volumes.

Estate tank is larger volume but shallower and has a different sender unit. The gauge reflects this.

Ideally you want a diff from another four cylinder with the same gearbox as the ratios vary.

One from a 3.2 might make the car undrivable as the change in ratio will affect the road speed in any gear for a given rpm. The 2.0,whilst adequate, isn't blessed with power to begin with.

That's the aerial for the factory phone prewiring ;)

The radio aerial is in the rear screen.

Of those 100,000 people 30 might end up in hospital with covid. Most of them will probably be bombed out of their homes. Not really comparable.
.

Pointless quoting figures, amateur expert..😂😂😂
I suppose it was given you missed the point.
