Everyone always puts down the younger generation but it really does seem this current crop are absolute moronic mouth breathers. No personality’s, no real interests. Just shit excuses for humans.

Rant over.

Try explaining to a 17 yesr old that his parents telling him to go to college and not skive, isn't threatening or bullying, just parenting. And no, the police won't get involved on your side...

So I Sign to change my Energy Supplier for an more expensive one that you've recommended and you get 100 quid.

Hmm.

As ever, YMMV, but up here, for us, in the deep dark north, they're cheaper than BG and SSE... and you get £100 too. No hard sell, its there if it works out for anyone, if not, no drama...

Preparing to move house and boxing up all the car parts. I think I have enough to build an entire FTO-190-Omega-VW Frankenstein's monster. And then enough consumables to set up my own little Halfords. The "spare bulbs" have an entire box to themselves...!

IIRC there is a train station, or perhaps a car park a few minutes walk away that was cheaper - but that was a few years ago now.

Been with them for ages now, and theyve sent me a link that if you sign up, you and I both get £100 for the pleasure.

If anyone would like... Then I'll unashamedly have a bit more cash for moving house with :D

Possible from me...

Mercedes ML will tow 3.5t, license permitting...

Cheap enough to be disposable  ;)

Mitsubishi and Hyundai both reliable, but any significant repairs will cost £££ Some of our older Shotguns, '57/8 have done nearly 300k miles, but still fetch well north of £3k at auction :o

Gollum. What do you do?

Sounds like MrsGKs work - their Shoguns are on moon miles and very rarely put a foot wrong. She's quite attached to them.

Can never tell when your time is up. :-\

I note two men died running a half marathon in Cardiff over the weekend. One in his twenties, the other in his thirties. I thought fit people ware supposed to live longer.
Even if you did have a heart attack through over exertion at the end of a race, you'd think there'd be expert help at the finish line. People that age shouldn't die if there is a defibrillator on hand, and I hope there was.

I believe there was medical help but clearly not good enough or fast enough.

Aged 25 and 32.You or I could drop off the perch at any time.

IIRC, defibs can't revive every heart - depends what rhythm it's fallen into.

It looks like it's been Photoshopped... Hmm.

Christ. I was fuming enough when I went into our local emporium of value-led economy purchases (otherwise known as B and M) and found half the aisles dedicated to gift sets and chocolate...
