General Discussion Area / Re: Does Sweden have it right.
« on: 02 August 2020, 13:00:26 »Apparently Sweden says they have 40 to 45 % herd immunity. Some of their scientists are saying that it's not true, but their death rate is 561 per million which is lower than the UK.'dangle berries'. In a word.
They've nearly twice as many cases as us currently.
We've tested twice as many people as there are in Sweden.
We have four times more BAME people here in percentage terms than they do, bearing in mind that our population is NINE times larger, so that's actually something like 8 million vs 40,000 BAME citizens who are automatically more susceptible. (We have ten times more BAME citizens than the ENTIRE population of Sweden)
And inspite of the resurgence, GLOBAL deaths are still out numbered 2:1 by people living in Birmingham.

Oh, and apparently the death rate in the US is under 500 per million, but they won't tell you that in the Guardian

45nm rings a bell... do you have a Haynes manual? worth getting if not as it has all the torque settings (along with step by step procedures for most jobs not covered by the extensive guides here)

Omega General Help / Re: Rear Window not working - Makes noise, but no action !

Door card self explanatory to remove, except two hidden screws... One in the depths of the armrest handle behind a cap and one behind the ashtray
Work the window up and down with the switch and liberallu whilst spraying silicon spray into the runners.
It's good practice to cycle all the windows/sunroof and doors once a month, if only to keep them working

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Re: NCDC 2015 Wiring

You need the extra loom for the CID, and technically a non computer wiper switch. (you might get away with simply unplugging the small plug where the stalk enters the column... It's only a couple of screws to remove the upper cover and you'll see the plug there)
It should otherwise work but wont display any nav information. For that you also need the GPS wiring.

The NCDC display is controlled by the head unit, whereas the CCRT2008 is run from the stalk
