I do, but it is almost as old as Tunnie and won't stop a bleed on blood thinners.

Besides, you can't use plasters any more in case wound is allergic :-X
allergic to what  :-\ a plaster  :-\
Had it been a serious "life threatening or life changing" injury then the patient would have been treated promptly (within a few hours)  ;)
Unfortunately Hospitals are full of non vaccinated or careless pesky "time wasters" with that minor Covid illness  ::)

Buying an "in date" first aid kit and researching the risks of blood thinners and first aid treatments might be wise in the current climate .

At least until all those pesky Covid infected people find other things to do other than drain NHS resources  :-X

Yep they ask that question, as i was when i had my booster jab earlier today, when i said i wasn't allergic to plasters the nurse slapped one on  :y Too worried about the NHS getting sued i guess  :-\
when your arm turns green and drops off  ::)

From a daily rag.............

Sky Sports F1 expert Ted Kravitz has suggested that Verstappen could be slapped with a five-second penalty if he is found guilty of passing Hamilton before the line at the restart on the final lap, which is one of Mercedes' complaints.

Hamilton was less than five seconds behind Verstappen so such a penalty would hand him the title.

Another worrying thing is that 4 out 5 in intensive are the unjabbed, I accept some people can't because of medical reasoms but come on  >:(
This then gets spun as everyone else's fault. Currently waiting on my surgery for the booster appointment, and contrary to the impression I may give, I do where a mask where I am obliged to and don't have much to do with anyone outside of my immediate family or work.

Yes, I think that some of the rules make little or no sense, but they are what they are, and they could make alot less sense. I also think that the constant negativity around the whole thing is unnecessarily draining on everyone as every snippet of news seems to be engineered to scare yet more people more than they already are.

Don't bother waiting for your surgery, Book it on the NHS website....same as I did...im booked in on Monday  :y

The cheapest currently is the capped standard variable that you will be put on.

Well, having a look in depth at my account with supplier, it appears my current DD is £39/month and im £140 in credit, they reckon my DD will increase to £56/month when my fixed period ends, but as im in credit they are going to continue with the £39/month DD  :y

Plus as my boiler was replaced today...CH rated at 'A' HW rated at "A+++" according to the sticker on the front of it....my gas consumption should be lower  :)

So, who reckons they've got the best deal recently with which energy company?

Or is it best (as that money bloke know all reckons) to stay put until March/April next year?  :-\

Reading all the article, I think its a good idea, either pay the £100 fine or go on a course....if they choose the later and cannot pass the course, the dvla is notified and its upto them whether to suspend their licence or not.......

China and Russia together would be a very formidable force.

We could always get STEMO to eat a few tins of beans and sit on an oil pipeline from Russia....we could could ignite the oil and the 'blowback' would 'torch' Russia....end of.....Simples  :D

My Mum has mobility problems .... she needs her walker or an arm to hold to walk the length of herself. She struggled to lift her leg high enough to get into my ML  :( but she manages OK to get into their Chrysler Voyager  :-\

We've become so accustomed to car doors that hinge at the front that we think they're 'correct', and ridicule the cars that have sliding or rear-hinged doors. Yet people with mobility problems love them because they work better - there's only a narrow space for putting your feet into a car, and a front-hinged door takes up a lot of it. Note how the bigger Rolls Royce has a rear hinged back door for the owner to get and out easily.

Much the same applies to modern low, sloping rooflines; you have to bend your body in another way at the same time as bending your waist, knees and ankles and lots of people can't do it. Just look at the number of elderly people who drive Fiesta/Focus Fusions,  Honda Jazzes, Jukes, Sanderos etc, and it's why the smaller crossovers are so popular.

My mum an dad used to have one of these....there also higher off the ground which helps if your elderly  :y
