A multi story carpark with an Omega with Irmscher body kit on it???

Many members have tried to buy the kit, and all have discovered that it's not made any longer.  :(

Reminder to self :

Don't park in multistory car parks in cornwall ......   :)

what Multi-storey car parks in Cornwall???

they've only just got internal combustion .......

Multi-storey down there means more than 1 book in the house.
 :y

There are a couple in Truro, can't think of any others

What? Books?  ;D

Interesting.

Not a lot of frontal area on a Westfield. Maybe I should remove the windscreen as well. SWMBO will freak but I reckon that'd make it tricky to get a return. ;D

Mate of mine had a Chevette. Complete lemon that his dad bought him, and then claimed he bought a rubbish one so he learnt about car maintenance. ;D

I think we had the gearbox in and out about 5 times. Eventually built a good gearbox out of all the shells in his garden and it was lovely. Until the prop UJ broke and thrashed around taking chunks out of the back of the gearbox. >:(

For a 1.3 you couldn't half hang the back end out though. :-X

Monza. That's the Johnny. Yes beautiful looking car. Has anyone seen one lately :question
I don't recall seeing one since the early 90's  ::)
Guess the rust worm had it's way :(

I see one or two every day on my way to work.

I used to lust after one on my way to school every day. Then, one day, it got T-Boned. :'(

Crikey! what do you use as a mug - a bucket?

There should be a liberal amount of oil under the cam covers. The oil fed to the cam bearings and the lifters should just pee out and lubricate the cam lobes by splash before draining back to the crankcase.

If it was dry under there (and it had run relatively recently) it doesn't bode well.

I guess this is how a camshaft came to go rusty...  ::)

And of course, that's what the OOF is here for. To stop people getting ripped off when trying to maintain their Omegas.  :y

I would say do it for £3.50 (or how much it ist for a window sticker) buy it now, make the add state you get a OFF window sticker, but have links to the forum in the add :)

The guy can't argue to ebay then that your trading un fairly

That's not a bad idea... Publicity for OOF if no-one buys it, publicity if someone does, and sticks it in their car. :y

.. and someone with a problem will pay nothing for good advice rather than a tenner for nothing.

You can fit three in the back easily BTW

Not ruddy likely! I'd do a Jimbob before even getting close!  ;D

What about your wife? You haven't been married that long have you?

She's probably the least keen of the two of us on having kids.
